Findling, Milam & Pyle has Merged with ABIP, PC

Jan 1, 2016 | News

The deeply rooted San Antonio CPA practice of Findling, Milam & Pyle has merged into the San Antonio and Houston-based firm ABIP, PC; effective January 1, 2016.

Established in 1964 by Willard, Robert and Jerry respectively; Findling, Milam & Pyle currently has 14 professionals and works with a diverse client base primarily composed of closely-held and family-owned businesses; as well as high-net-worth individuals. For the time being, the firm will continue to operate out of their current office on Nacogdoches Road. “We are excited to be a part of the team and look forward to working alongside the professionals at ABIP, PC” said David Zurbriggen.

ABIP’s San Antonio office brings with it a rich heritage, dating back to January 1954 and the subsequent formation of Thompson, Williams, Biediger, Kastor & Young. The legacy continued in recent years with the acquisition of Patricia Wagner, CPA in 2012 and Joy S. Chestnut & Company in 2014. Altogether, ABIP’s offices in San Antonio and Houston have approximately 70 professionals working in four distinct practice areas, and are led by Scott Irvine, the Managing Partner.

Together, the merger expands ABIP’s presence in the San Antonio marketplace and provides additional resources for Findling, Milam & Pyle clients. The same outstanding service synonymous with both firms will continue to be delivered. “We believe this merger will better align us to achieve our ultimate goal of providing the best client service possible” said David Schmidt, a Partner at Findling, Milam & Pyle.
