Andrew T. Barbe, CPA, MBA, CGMA, is a partner at ABIP, P.C., with over 20 years of experience in private and public accounting. Andrew leads the firm’s client accounting services group and provides advisory services focused on corporate performance optimization, valuation, litigation support, and risk management support. His experience includes privately held and publicly traded companies, technology, financial institutions, healthcare, industrial services, and professional services. Additionally, he is fluent in the energy and utilities fields as well and has significant experience working with private equity groups. Andrew’s primary focus is helping entities strategically grow their business and develop high-performing processes while also managing their reporting, operational and filing requirements. He helps them stay focused on their critical success factors and monitor their key performance indicators.

Professional Background
Andrew previously served as a CFO for several privately held or private equity owned corporations. Additionally, he has served in leadership roles with global accounting and consulting firms as well as boutique advisory firms. He has provided financial leadership and developed business strategies for short-and long-term impact within start-up, turnaround, and fast-growing environments. Throughout his career, he has successfully gained experience in developing people, operations, and procedures to enable both strategic and tactical execution to meet set goals as well as sustain growth and profitability.

Education and Associations
Mr. Barbe graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a Bachelors of Business Administration, and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, Scottsdale Campus. Andrew is an active member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Texas Society of Public Accountants (TSCPA), including the Houston Chapter, Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), and the FEI. He is a Director/Member and advocate for Cowboys for Heroes, and a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity Alumni Association, and the UTEP Alumni Association and Foundation.
